Fox Cub Class £425.00 - with guest teacher Emma Jayne
Join Emma in this face to face class and learn how to create this bust cake using edible mediums. Emma will take you through the complete process from sculpting the shape using rice krispie treats and modelling chocolate to adding the finer details such as the fox cub's facial features.

Date - Friday 27th May and Saturday 28th May 2022
Time - 9am till approx. 7pm each day. Please be aware that the class may not finish at the expected time.

Emma will cover;
- a practical sculpting demonstration whilst helping you make your own.
- run through how to build a solid internal structure and ensure it is cake friendly (food contact safe).
- how to work with modelling chocolate and rice Krispy treats.
- the best ways to create realistic animals traits.
This modelling doesn’t include carved cake, the interior of the piece will be made using Rice Crispy Treats. Emma will explain how it would be done in the case of cake.
This piece involves the use lots of techniques, techniques which you will be able to apply and reuse in your own futures creations, thereby opening up a range of future cake possibilities.
This class includes all materials and equipment required during the class.
With your purchase of this Face to Face class you will also be given access to the online version by Emma Jayne. Access will not be granted to the online version until the Face to Face class has taken place.
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION
Please note: You will need to bring your own packed lunch with you and a note pad and pen if you wish to take notes. Please be respectful of the teachers wishes and do not film in the class unless the teacher has said you are ok to do so.
Please be aware that it is possible that the class may run over the expected finish time, we suggest allowing AT LEAST an hour either side of the expected finish time. Bear this in mind when booking transport, as we cannot be held responsible for any missed trains, flights and buses.
A £100 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required in order to secure your booking and the remaining balance (£325.00) is then due no later than 4 weeks before your class. We will email you nearer to the date of the class with further class info such as parking instructions, directions to the venue alongside a link to pay the final balance.
Please be aware that once the final balance has been paid, we are unable to refund so please double check travel arrangements, child care and any other arrangements before committing to a class.
In the unlikely event that Zoe’s Fancy Cakes has to cancel a class, any money paid towards the class itself will be refunded, this does not extend to covering travel and / or accommodation expenditure.
The skills learnt during your time with us are intended for you to use yourself and under no circumstances should the class be replicated and taught by you to your own students in person, online or via video.
Photographs are permitted during class but video recording is prohibited. Unless otherwise stated by the tutor.
