Description
The Zoe's Fancy Cakes Internal support structure is finally here. We have made these to use in classes and in Zoe's videos for several years and after many requests have finally made a few available online.
They are great to use when building bigger / taller cake structures and those things that need that bit extra support 😉 They are easily adaptable too as the nuts / washers can just be moved up and down the central rod.
They are available with a round or square base in 8", 10", 11" and 12" sizes.
- Each kit comes with 4 nuts, 4 washers, a 30 cm central rod and a clear plastic drinking straw.
- Each kit comes flat packed and will need to be assembled at home (having a spanner is useful albeit not essential as they can be tightened by hand).
We will be creating a video soon to help show you how to use these structures when making your cake creations.
These are not food safe in their current state. Covering the central rod with an item like a drinking straw or hollow cake dowel will however make this element food safe. There will be a video coming soon to help you with these sort of things.
IMPORTANT - Please ensure that whomever is given a cake using an internal structure is made aware that it is present in the cake. They can be dangerous if for example someone decides to try a cake smash with one it which is most definitely advised against!
